A global leader in the aerospace industry is seeking an experienced Laminator to join their team!

Lamination Machine Operator

Schedule:

• 1st shift: Monday to Friday 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
• 2nd shift: Monday to Friday 10:30 am – 7:00 pm (crossover shift)

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of lamination, printing, and/or coating experience
• Experience operating mixing equipment, oxidizers, or slitters is a plus
• Mechanical aptitude is a plus
• Experience with Excel spreadsheets required for data entry
• Knowledge of adhesive formulations is a plus
• Forklift experience is preferred

Responsibilities:

• Work as part of a 3-person laminating/mixing/printing crew
• Monitor quality of raw materials and finished goods
• Provide samples to quality control as required
• Move, load, and unload inventory and materials using motorized forklifts and manual handling devices
• Perform change-over activities, including roll and adhesive clean-up
• Record data related to material use, production, and movement
• Assist in maintenance, slitting, and traffic as needed
• Handle special projects and assignments as required
• Set up machine controls according to SOP
• Monitor adhesive level lay-down, material tracking, and oven temperature
• Monitor machine settings, controls, and readouts
• Prepare the coater for each product run

Pay:

$20.50 per hour
