Qualifications

• Reading blueprints and/or job orders to determine production specs.
• Set up, program, and operate machines (cutters, saws, drills, shapers, routers).
• Inspect workpieces for defects and measure for accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints/job orders to determine production specs.
• Set up, program, and operate machines to make workpieces.
• Start machines and adjust controls; run trial cuts to ensure proper operation.
• Inspect finished pieces for conformance and measure using gauges and templates.
