Job summary

Lear Corporation seeks a Direct Operator for the Lamination Department to operate and monitor machines such as feed-in, buttweld, or exit end stations. You will ensure safety, inspect fabric quality, and perform routine setup tasks as part of a lean manufacturing team.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for long periods, and following detailed procedures with accuracy in a fast-paced environment. Training and PPE are provided to support safe performance.

Qualifications

• Lean manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to follow procedures and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Align fabric edge to machine using sensors and controls.
• Inspect fabric for defects according to SOP/Work instructions.
• Change rolls and perform style changes; prepare lab samples.
• Record data into the computer and manage multiple ICE stations.
