Job summary

SOLitude Lake Management in Florida seeks a Field Operations Manager to oversee on-site lake management projects, lead field crews, ensure safety, quality, and client satisfaction across multiple sites. The role requires strong leadership, project oversight, and hands-on supervision of equipment and crews.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in lake management, 2+ years in supervision, a Bachelor’s in Environmental Science or related field, and a willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Natural Resource Management, or related field highly desired.
• Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all field operations related to lake management projects (vegetation, water quality, fishery, erosion control).
• Lead field crews and seasonal staff; provide training, supervision, and performance feedback.
• Act as primary client contact at sites; maintain strong client relationships and report progress.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, regulations, and best practices; conduct quality inspections.
• Promote safety culture; conduct safety meetings and ensure PPE usage and hazard mitigation.
• Coordinate resources and budgets; manage equipment, materials, and travel planning.
