Isabella Bank in Sherman Township, Michigan is seeking a Teller to handle deposits, cash withdrawals, and provide customer service. You will verify transactions, process payments, and promote additional banking services.

The role requires basic computer skills, math proficiency, and prior cash handling experience. This is a full-time position with opportunities across branches and growth within the bank.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Previous cash handling or teller experience preferred.
• Excellent mathematical and numerical skills required.
• Basic computer literacy and cash handling procedures knowledge.

Responsabilités

• Receive checks and cash for deposit to accounts, verify amounts, examine checks for proper endorsement, and enter deposits into computer records.
• Cash checks and process withdrawals; pay out money after verification of signatures, and customer balances.
• Promote and explain other financial services such as CDs, safe deposit boxes, traveler’s checks and money orders.
• Receive mortgage, consumer loan and other payments and ensure payments match balance due; enter payments and generate receipts.
• Count, check, and package coins and currency.
• Ensure teller stations are stocked with forms and supplies.
• Establish and maintain positive working relationships with coworkers.
• Assist with account opening procedures.
• Pin ATM/Debit cards.
• Travel to other branches to assist with staffing may be required.
• Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Receive checks and cash for deposit to accounts, verify amounts, examine checks for proper endorsement, and enter deposits into computer records.
• Cash checks and process withdrawals; pay out money after verification of signatures, and customer balances.
• Promote and explain other financial institution services such as CDs, safe deposit boxes, traveler’s checks and money orders.
• Receive mortgage, consumer loan and other payments and ensure the payments match balance due. Enter payments into computer and generate customer receipts.
• Count, check, and package coins and currency.
• Ensure that teller stations are properly stocked with forms, supplies, etc.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers.
• Pursue personal development of skills and knowledge necessary for this position.
• Perform other similar or related duties as necessary.
• Assist with account opening procedures.
• Pin ATM/Debit cards.
• Document and file items into synergy.
• Travel to other branches to assist with staffing may be required.
• Other duties as assigned.
