Job summary

Isabella Bank is seeking a Teller to manage daily cash transactions, deposits, and withdrawals at our Michigan branches. The role involves verifying endorsements, balancing cash, and providing accurate receipts to customers.

You will promote bank products such as CDs and traveler’s checks, assist with account openings, and maintain branch operations. A high school diploma and cash handling experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Previous cash handling or teller experience preferred.
• Strong mathematical and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive checks and cash for deposits; verify amounts and endorsements.
• Cash checks and process withdrawals after verification of signatures and customer balances.
• Promote and explain bank services such as CDs, safe deposit boxes, traveler’s checks and money orders.
• Receive mortgage, consumer loan and other payments and ensure they match balance due; enter payments and generate receipts.
• Count, check, and package coins and currency.
• Travel to other branches to assist with staffing as needed.
• Assist with account opening procedures.
