Job summary

Electric Hospitality is seeking a bartender at our Atlanta location to craft drinks, upsell recommendations, and uphold our energetic culture. You will check IDs, follow safety procedures, and ensure a memorable guest experience across bar and dining areas.

The role emphasizes mixology knowledge, strong communication, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment with opportunities for growth and employee discounts.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Live and uphold Electric Hospitality values and culture.
• Prepare guests' drinks as ordered.
• Check identification to ensure customers are of legal age to purchase alcohol.
• Adhere to proper alcohol handling, sanitation, and safety procedures, and maintain dating, labeling, and rotation of beverages.
• Assess customers’ needs and make recommendations.
• Take drink orders from guests at the bar or from servers.
• Input orders into the POS system.
• Slice fruit or garnishes for drinks.
• Clean bar and arrange glasses for an attractive display.
• Prepare bill and accept payment from guests.
• Thank guests and invite them back for a future experience.
• Communicate effectively with guests and co-workers.
• Remain calm under stressful conditions.
• Assist the team to optimize the guest’s dining experience.

Essential Physical Functions

• Ability to stand/walk for 8-10 hours per day.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.

• Must be able to work in both warm and cool environments, indoors and outdoors.
• Must be able to tolerate higher levels of noise from music and customer traffic.
• Must be able to tolerate potential allergens: peanut products, egg, dairy, gluten, and soy.
• Report to work in a complete required uniform.
• Maintain a well-manicured appearance and persona that reflects the image of the restaurant.
