Qualifications

• Current Iowa RN license or compact license.

• Completion of Mandatory Reporter training within 3 months of hire.
• BLS certification within 6 weeks of hire.
• NRP certification within 6 weeks of hire.

Responsibilities

• Act as a clinical/educational resource in the newborn/mother care area.
• Develop and coordinate lactation education programs and classes.
• Collaborate with nursing and medical teams to support patient care.
• Participate in committees, research reviews, and program presentations.
• Maintain knowledge of relevant laws, policies, and ethics.
