Qualifications

• RN licensure required with BLS certification.

• NRP certification preferred.
• 1+ acute care hospital experience preferred.
• 2+ maternity or newborn experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct rounds on maternal/infant units and lactating mothers.
• Provide private consultations and answer the breastfeeding help line.
• Plan and present prenatal breastfeeding classes and evaluate outcomes.
• Maintain thorough records and documentation.
• Collaborate with hospital staff and provide in-service programs.
