Job summary

Phoenix Children's Hospital is seeking a skilled lactation program coordinator to plan, develop and evaluate services across inpatient and outpatient settings. The role requires an RN or RD with IBCLC eligibility and current BLS, plus experience supporting breastfeeding families.

Located at our Phoenix campus, this full-time role supports lactation services with opportunities to lead program initiatives and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to improve pediatric care and breastfeeding

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing, dietetics, or equivalent.
• Minimum two years of direct patient care as RN or RD.
• Current AZ RN license or RD credential recognized by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
• IBCLC certification or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Lactation consultant experience in NICU preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, coordinate, and evaluate lactation programs in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Provide lactation assistance and education to breastfeeding mothers.
• Promote awareness and understanding of lactation services.
