Job summary

Stone Bridge High School is seeking a Lacrosse Head Coach for the Spring season (February–May). The role includes directing training and conditioning for the varsity team, supervising and evaluating assistant coaches, and working with the athletic director on schedules and official selections.

The ideal candidate will have prior coaching experience at high school or college level, CPR/First Aid training, and prefer a Virginia Teaching License or LCPS classified employee background.

Qualifications

• Coaching experience or participation in the sport at high school or college levels.
• Completion of CPR and First Aid training or enrollment in current CPR and First Aid training course.
• Prefer experience as a teacher or classified employee in Loudoun County Public Schools.
• Prefer a Virginia Teaching License candidate or a full-time classified employee for Loudoun County Public Schools.

Responsibilities

• Direct, supervise, and evaluate regularly the performance of all assistant coaches.
• Direct the training, conditioning, and performance of the varsity athletic team and lead assistant coaches.
• Advise the athletic director as to schedules for the sport, and assist in official selection/evaluations.
• Ensure medical examinations are completed before the regular practice season begins.
• Maintain equipment inventory and advise on facilities needs.
• Supervise athletes at varsity, junior varsity, and freshmen contests and post-season events.
