Job summary

Loudoun County Public Schools is seeking an Assistant Coach for Lacrosse at Stone Bridge High School in Ashburn, Virginia. Responsibilities include collaborating with the head coach, attending staff meetings, recommending supplies, and fostering a positive attitude among athletes. Applicants should have coaching experience and complete CPR and First Aid training. A Virginia Teaching License or classified employee status is preferred. This is a seasonal position running from February to May.

Qualifications

• Coaching experience or participation in the sport at high school or college levels.
• Completion of CPR and First Aid training or enrollment in a current CPR and First Aid training course.
• Prefer experience as a teacher or classified employee in Loudoun County Public Schools.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Work cooperatively with the head athletic coach to operate a well‑structured program.
• Collaborate with the athletic department.
• Attend all staff meetings prescribed by the head athletic coach during the season.
• Carry out specific duties designated by the head athletic coach.
• Recommend equipment and supplies needed for the implementation of a sports program.
• Recommend disciplinary actions for players violating training rules and procedures.
• Foster among the athletes a desire to win, an attitude of good sportsmanship, personal pride, and pride for their school and community.
• Perform other duties related to the position of assistant athletic coach as requested by the high school principal and/or athletic director.

Qualifications
