Job summary

LEGENDS GLOBAL is seeking a part-time Plumber at the Los Angeles Convention Center to handle day-to-day plumbing needs on-site. This role requires journeyman-level skills, owning essential hand tools, and performing routine checks on water systems and fixtures in a high-traffic venue.

The plumber will work with the Operations team, support other trades as needed, and assist guests with questions about facility services in a dynamic event environment. This is an onsite role in downtown LA.

Qualifications

• Journeyman level plumbing experience is required.
• Ability to provide own hand tools to perform assigned work.
• Willingness to perform routine daily checks and activity.

Summary

The Plumber carries out the day-to-day plumbing needs of the Los Angeles Convention Center (LACC).

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Required to perform journeyman level work.
• Provides own hand tools required to perform assigned work, including but not limited to, screw drivers, measuring tape, pliers, adjustable wrenches and flashlight.
• Provide routine daily checks and activities.
• Responsibilities included, but not limited to, all restroom fixtures, kitchen fixtures, dishwashers, grease traps, hood wash down system, drinking fountains, hot water heaters, building sewer system, dewatering system, storm drains, air conditioning condensate drains, water usage/conservation, water softener, reverse osmosis, and perform system check on fire sprinkler system.
• May be required on occasion to lend support to other trades.
• Ability to answer guest questions regarding the facility.
• Maintains proper care of uniform, equipment and supplies.

Team Member must comply with all Federal, State and Local regulations and published Company work rules as well as written instructions. The noise level in the work environment is typically low to moderate in office setting and moderate to high during events and around loud machinery.

This is an onsite position that requires in-person collaboration with multiple departments and coverage of events from start to finish.
