Job summary

Westbourne IT Global Services in Foster City, CA, is seeking an experienced LabWare LIMS / Laboratory IT Systems Analyst to support laboratory applications and IT equipment in a regulated pharmaceutical environment.

The ideal candidate will combine laboratory systems knowledge with IT/app support, hands-on LabWare LIMS experience, and the ability to troubleshoot, manage incidents, and collaborate with QA, IT, and vendors to maintain compliant, audit-ready systems.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience supporting or administering LabWare LIMS.
• Experience with laboratory IT systems, applications, or laboratory equipment.
• Experience in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, life sciences, or regulated laboratory environment.
• Strong IT/Application Support and troubleshooting experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support for LabWare LIMS and other laboratory IT applications.
• Troubleshoot LIMS issues, system errors, user access problems, interfaces, and laboratory workflows.
• Support laboratory instruments and associated IT equipment, including instrument-to-LIMS connectivity.
• Investigate incidents and service requests and perform root cause analysis.
• Work with laboratory users, Quality, IT, vendors, and other stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
• Support configuration, testing, UAT, system upgrades, enhancements, and change requests.
• Maintain system documentation, SOPs, incident records, and audit trails.
• Support GxP, GMP, CSV and Data Integrity requirements.
• Assist with user account management, access controls, and system administration.
• Ensure laboratory systems remain compliant, reliable, secure, and audit-ready.
• Provide user training and technical guidance when required.
• Manage incidents and requests through tools such as ServiceNow or Jira while meeting agreed SLAs.
