Job summary

Apolis in Thousand Oaks, CA, is seeking a LabWare LIMS Configuration & Integration Specialist for a 6-month hybrid assignment (50–60% onsite). You will configure LabWare LIMS v7/v8, support GMP workflows, and collaborate across Quality, Validation, IT and lab teams to ensure successful system implementation and ongoing performance.

The role requires hands-on LabWare configuration, experience with LIMS validation/testing, and familiarity with LabX/Empower.

• Configure and troubleshoot laboratory equipment integrations and system interfaces.
• Translate laboratory, business, and quality requirements into compliant LIMS configurations.
• Support requirements traceability, testing, validation, and change control activities.
• Collaborate with Quality, Validation, IT, and laboratory teams to ensure successful implementation and system performance.

Job Title: LabWare LIMS Configuration & Integration Specialist

Location: Thousand Oaks, CA (Fine with relocation)

Work Arrangement: Hybrid – approximately 50–60% onsite

Project Duration: 6 months with extension

Technology: LabWare LIMS Version 7 / Version 8

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure LabWare LIMS objects, workflows, master data, specifications, and test templates.




• Support raw material, commercial product, and stability testing workflows.




• Configure and troubleshoot laboratory equipment integrations and system interfaces.




• Translate laboratory, business, and quality requirements into compliant LIMS configurations.




• Support requirements traceability, testing, validation, and change control activities.




• Collaborate with Quality, Validation, IT, and laboratory teams to ensure successful implementation and system performance.

Required Qualifications:

• Strong, hands-on experience configuring LabWare LIMS Version 7.




• LabWare Version 8 experience is highly preferred.




• Experience working in GMP-regulated laboratory environments.




• Experience with raw material testing, commercial product testing, stability programs, or laboratory instrument integration.




• Experience supporting LIMS validation and testing activities.




• Familiarity with laboratory systems such as LabX, Empower, or similar platforms.




• Strong documentation, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with LabWare 8 implementations or upgrades.




• Pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry experience.




• Knowledge of GMP validation and change control processes.
