Job summary

Oxford Solutions is seeking a LabVIEW Test Engineer for a 6-month onsite contract role in Batesburg-Leesville, SC. Relocation assistance is not available. You will support production testing, troubleshoot, and drive process improvements within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include maintaining test systems, collaborating with R&D, and ensuring smooth test process transfers across the global supply chain. Strong LabVIEW/TestStand experience and electronics knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science, Software, or related Engineering field (Electrical Engineering preferred).
• Hands‑on experience with NI LabVIEW and TestStand.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications (Word, Excel, Teams).
• Basic software writing and editing skills.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of electronics and ability to analyze electrical schematics.
• Mechanically inclined; able to disassemble/reassemble test equipment with standard tools.

Responsibilities

• Execute actions within the manufacturing action plan (audits, failure analysis, improvement initiatives).
• Ensure proper operation and maintenance of test software and SQL-based data systems.
• Communicate issues and updates to the R&D team and provide documentation updates.
• Analyze and improve production test yield by identifying root causes and proposing solutions.
• Support technology transfer of test processes across the supply chain.
• Contribute to test requirement definitions and creation of test processes for new product introductions.
• Implement new test processes and tools per assigned action plans.
