Job summary

Sira Consulting is seeking an embedded software engineer in Irvine, CA to contribute across the full SDLC, from requirements through testing. You will design and implement embedded C/C++ applications, collaborate with hardware teams on board and OS bring-up, and develop device drivers for various interfaces.

You will ensure regulatory compliance and optimize software for performance and reliability, working with hardware, systems, and verification engineers in a cross-functional environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in embedded C/C++ development.
• Hands-on experience with board bring-up and OS bring-up.
• Device driver development for embedded platforms.
• Experience with HIL testing.
• Proficiency with hardware interfaces: UART, USB, Ethernet, I2C, SPI, RS232/RS422.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and safety requirements.
