Job summary

OKAYA INFOCOM is seeking a senior engineer to design scalable LabVIEW-based test and automation solutions in a healthcare/medical device context. You will lead system architecture, drive framework creation, and mentor engineering teams while hands-on integrating DAQ hardware and optimizing performance.

The role requires deep LabVIEW expertise, real-time/FPGA experience, and familiarity with regulatory standards (FDA/IEC 62304/ISO 13485). Based in Milpitas, CA, on-site collaboration is expected.

Qualifications

• Design and architect scalable LabVIEW-based test, measurement, and automation solutions.
• Experience leading system architecture, framework creation, and engineering teams.
• Hands-on with DAQ systems, hardware integration, and performance optimization.
• Healthcare/Medical Device domain exposure and FDA/IEC 62304/ISO 13485 a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead design of scalable LabVIEW-based test systems for medical/industrial devices.
• Architect real-time and FPGA platforms and guide engineering teams.
• Integrate DAQ hardware and optimize performance of test rigs and automation.
• Evaluate and adopt TestStand/DIAdem and imaging acquisition techniques as needed.

Detailed JD / Required Qualifications:

• Design and architect scalable LabVIEW-based test, measurement, and automation solutions.


• Strong expertise in LabVIEW Core, Real-Time, FPGA, and NI hardware platforms.


• Experience leading system architecture, framework creation, and engineering teams.


• Hands‑on experience with DAQ systems, hardware integration, and performance optimization.


• Knowledge of TestStand, DIAdem, Image Acquisition/Processing is preferred.


• Healthcare/Medical Device domain experience and FDA/IEC 62304/ISO 13485 exposure are a plus.


• Bachelor's/Master's degree in EE, CE, CS, or related field.
