Job summary

Interval is seeking two experienced LabVantage LIMS experts for a remote, contract-based assignment focused on configuring and extending the LabVantage platform for pharma/life sciences clients.

The role requires hands-on LIMS development in regulated environments, strong English communication, and the ability to work effectively within a distributed, remote team. The project runs from October 2026 to May 2027 with potential extensions.

Responsibilities

• Configure and customise LabVantage LIMS per client needs.

• Ensure compliance with pharma/regulatory standards in all work.
• Support testing, validation and documentation within the project lifecycle.
• Assist with knowledge transfer as the project progresses.

This is a remote position. Role: LabVantage LIMS Expert Level: Experienced Software Developer Location: Remote Language: English Period: October 2026 to May 2027 (extensions likely) Sector: Pharma / Life Sciences Eligibility: Candidates must be resident in and hold the right to work in the EU, EEA, UK or Switzerland.

We’re currently supporting a planned project in the pharma and life sciences sector and are looking to bring on two experienced LabVantage LIMS experts.

Key responsibilities:

• Configure and customise LabVantage LIMS in line with project and client requirements
• Design and build customer-specific solutions and extensions within the LabVantage platform
• Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into system functionality
• Operate within a regulated environment, ensuring all work meets applicable pharma or life sciences compliance standards
• Support testing, validation and documentation activities as part of the wider project lifecycle
• Contribute to a smooth handover and knowledge transfer as the project progresses through its phases

Requirements

Eligibility: Candidates must be resident in and hold the right to work in the EU, EEA, UK or Switzerland.

Language: English

Required skills:

• Software developer background with solid, hands-on LIMS experience
• Practical experience with LabVantage, covering both configuration and bespoke development
• Prior exposure to regulated environments, ideally within pharma or life sciences
• Comfortable operating in an English-speaking project environment
• Able to work effectively in a remote, distributed team setup
