Job summary

General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems in Scranton, PA, is seeking Laborers to support multiple departments in a busy manufacturing facility. You will help maintain production flow, stack material, and assist machine operators as needed, contributing to efficient operations on all shifts.

Responsibilities include feeding materials, palletizing, cleaning machinery, and operating basic equipment. A high school diploma and ability to work in a union environment are required.

• Laborers are responsible for stacking material on tables.

• Will assist operators on the production line to ensure production flow wherever needed.
• Operate a pneumatic strapping gun.
• Load trays of material for the heat treating process.
• Operate heat treating loading equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

High school graduate. Must to be able to work any shift in a union environment. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time. Works with and follows one or more Work Instructions, Basic Rules of Manufacturing, General Dynamics OTS Environmental, and other work related policies. Must be able to work in a team environment and have the ability to learn and adapt to different working environments where and when needed.
