Job summary

General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems in Scranton, PA, is seeking Laborers to support multiple departments in a busy manufacturing facility. You will help maintain production flow, stack material, and assist machine operators as needed, contributing to efficient operations on all shifts.

Responsibilities include feeding materials, palletizing, cleaning machinery, and operating basic equipment. A high school diploma and ability to work in a union environment are required.

Responsibilities

• Laborers are plant wide and work in all departments and areas of the manufacturing facility.
• Laborers are responsible for stacking material on tables.
• Feeding material to machine operators as needed.
• Palletizing material, painting, cleaning machinery and general cleaning as needed.
• Will assist operators on the production line to ensure production flow wherever needed.
• Operate a pneumatic strapping gun.
• Load trays of material for the heat treating process.
• Operate heat treating loading equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
