Job summary

H2O Innovation is looking for a Skilled Laborer to join our team in Long Beach, MS. Responsibilities include assisting with various repair tasks such as asphalt and storm drain repairs, and performing concrete work as needed. Candidates must be at least 18 years old, hold a valid driver’s license, and be capable of passing a drug screen and background checks.

H 2 O Innovation provides public works management services & operations assistance for water & wastewater treatment plants to municipalities, government organizations, and businesses across North America. H 2 O is currently seeking a Skilled Laborer to join our team in Long Beach, MS.

Day‑to‑Day Duties

• Assisting with asphalt repair, storm drain repair, water main repair and sewer main repair.
• Performing concrete work as needed.
• Required experience includes knowledge and ability to run a weed eater and zero‑turn mower for extended periods of time.
• Other duties may vary.

Skills & Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to pass pre‑employment drug screen, criminal background and motor vehicle record checks.
• Knowledge of operating characteristics of assigned equipment.
• Knowledge of work hazards and safety precautions.
• Must be willing to learn all assigned tasks and have good work ethics.
• Motivation to learn equipment operations for promotional opportunities.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions, including H 2 O’s department rules, policies and regulations.
• Ability to communicate effectively with other personnel and supervisors.
• Ability to deal with the public on a regular basis in a professional, courteous manner.
