Overview and Essential Functions

Are you looking for an opportunity to make a difference? Do you enjoy working outside in all kinds of weather? We’re seeking Laborers to join our team and help connect America.

What you’ll do…

1. Work in all phases of underground construction, including but not limited to: loading, driving, delivery, digging, removal, and placement of various types, sizes, and weights of construction materials and equipment.
2. Hand dig using shovels and mechanical tools.
3. Install and maintain underground telecommunications cabling.
4. Climb into and out of equipment such as trucks, cars, backhoes, trenchers, etc.
5. Operate or work around heavy equipment and machinery.
6. Work in congested or remote areas.
7. Direct traffic flow according to local DOT guidelines.
8. Perform general construction work under the supervision of a Foreperson or Operator.
9. Maintain safe working habits and conditions according to all regulations, procedures, and policies.

Who we are looking for…

1. You are at least 18 years old.
2. You have a valid driver’s license with a minimum of 2 years of driving experience.
3. You are authorized to work in the United States for this company.
4. You have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
5. You are willing to work both solo and in a team environment.
6. You have experience working in all weather conditions, including inclement weather.
7. You are a self-starter.
8. You possess effective communication skills.
9. You can travel and work extended hours, including overtime and weekends, as needed.
10. You are able to lift, climb, and carry ladders weighing up to 80 lbs.
