Laborer/Rigger

Qualifications:

• A High School or GED diploma preferred.
• Some experience in construction preferred.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Promotes, executes and adheres to the company’s safety program.
• Ensures that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed and brings problems or concerns to the attention of the supervisor or safety manager.
• Performs a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor in heavy projects; performs manual work in preparing surfaces for paving.
• Maintains a clean job site: picks up all tools and equipment and secures job site each day to eliminate potential hazards.
• Performs materials handling and storage.
• Loads and unloads trucks and hauls and hoists materials.
• Performs other construction duties or tasks as required based on company’s needs.
