Job summary

Furmano Foods in Northumberland, PA is seeking an entry-level Laborer for production on the pouch line. You will support more specialized positions such as brine room, filler, All Pax, and other production duties, learning additional roles and following GMP standards.

This role offers full-time hours on 2nd shift (3pm-11pm) or 3rd shift (11pm-7am) with overtime as needed, and a pay rate up to $16.33 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be physically capable of regularly working on the pouch line.
• Must be able to complete daily documentation accurately.
• Be able to retain job knowledge and skills day to day.

Responsibilities

• Be a helper for more specialized positions such as brine room, filler, All Pax, etc.
• Perform various jobs on the pouch line, product inspection, putting lids on, etc.
• Learn additional production jobs and fill in as needed.
• Follow all GMPs associated with this position.
• Maintain a positive teamwork atmosphere by actions, communication and helping co-workers.
• Must complete required annual training.
• Other jobs as assigned by supervisor.

Food safety is the responsibility of every employee. Any issues should be

brought to the immediate attention of area supervisor or manager.

Job Type: Full-time
Schedule:2nd shift: 3pm-11pm/3rd shift: 11pm-7am /Monday-Friday
8-hour shift, may need to work extended hours / Overtime based on needs of the business
Weekend availability in season w/ specific mandatory Saturdays as needed

Salary: Up to $16.33 per hour

Bonus Incentives:

Differential for 2nd & 3rd shift hrs. - $1.00 per hour

Attendance bonus-$.50 per hour
