Job summary

ASR Group is seeking a Process Laborer for our Crockett, CA facility. The role involves performing essential tasks to process sugar, with exposure to hot liquids and equipment. You will operate equipment and maintain a log book, supporting an efficient production line in a fast-paced plant environment.

Candidates should be comfortable with standing long hours, lifting up to 50 pounds, and wearing PPE. Weekend shifts and overtime may be required to meet production needs.

Qualifications

• This role requires the flexibility to work various shifts, including Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, holidays and overtime as needed.
• Standing and walking 6-8+ hours per day; ability to lift up to 50 pounds; ability to grasp, push and pull.
• Must wear PPE: safety glasses, steel-toe shoes, hearing protection, hard hat.
• Basic mechanical aptitude is required.
• Basic math calculations are required.
• Reliable and predictable attendance is required.

OVERVIEW

The Process Laborer may be assigned to a variety of process or cleaning positions. The Process Laborer may be assigned to any station or location in the Process Department. This position requires continuous heavy labor activities. Assignments may include repetitive hand, arm, and body movements.

Required Experience

• Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Hourly Pay Rate: $27.10 / hour
