Job summary

Primoris Services Corporation is seeking a Laborer - Non Driver to support skilled craft workers on construction sites, helping ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently.

You will perform general labor tasks such as digging, trenching, shoveling, and loading materials, assist with site setup and breakdown, and follow all safety policies and directions from supervisors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• No prior construction experience required; a plus.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks in varying weather.

• Assist with setup and breakdown of sites, including cones, barriers, and signage.

• Spot for heavy equipment operators to ensure safety.
• Assist with assembly/disassembly of temporary structures and scaffolding.
• Follow safety policies and company procedures.

Job Overview

The Laborer - Non Driver will assist skilled craft workers with various tasks on construction sites, ensuring projects are completed safely and efficiently.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform general labor duties such as digging, trenching, shoveling, and raking.
• Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment from vehicles and staging areas.
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of construction sites, including placing cones, barriers, and signage.
• Operate hand and power tools under supervision, such as drills, grinders, and compactors.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including sweeping debris and disposing of waste.
• Spot for heavy equipment operators to ensure safe movement and placement.
• Assist with the assembly and disassembly of temporary structures and scaffolding.
• Follow all safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or forepersons.

Job Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous experience in construction or a related field is a plus but not required.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly and perform strenuous physical tasks in various weather conditions.
• Strong work ethic and ability to follow instructions.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to all company safety policies.
• Must be able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
