We are currently accepting applications for experienced Laborers looking to advance their careers in construction. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of commercial construction and remodeling practices, along with a comprehensive understanding of procedures, techniques, tools, equipment, materials, specifications, quality and cost control measures, and safety requirements related to commercial building.

Responsibilities May Include But Are Not Limited To

1. General and final cleanup
2. Distribution and cleanup of power hand-tools, extension cords, generators
3. Dewatering activities, setting up water pumps and hoses
4. Manual moving of formwork, lumber, rebar, and materials
5. Hand excavation and backfill
6. Hand grading of sub-base
7. Placement of vapor barriers and insulation
8. Placement and tying of rebar
9. Placing concrete using various methods
10. Raking, screeding, edging, and broom finishing concrete
11. Vibrating concrete
12. Placing concrete blankets
13. Stripping, wrecking, cleaning, and oiling formwork
14. Demolition of masonry, drywall, partitions, ceilings, finishes
15. Use of demolition tools such as jackhammers, air tools, sledgehammers
16. Use of cutoff saws and cutting torches
17. Other tasks as directed by supervisor

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of three years’ experience in commercial construction
• Reliable transportation
• Willing to work within a 50-mile radius
• Ability to work in various seasonal and weather conditions
