Job summary

Holder Construction is seeking a Laborer to join the Operations team on our Mooresville, IN project. This full-time position supports field supervision, assists carpenters, and helps keep the site clean and safe.

The role requires 1 year of construction experience, strong safety awareness, and physical stamina to lift 50 pounds and work on varied surfaces. overtime and weekend hours may be required in a dynamic construction environment.

Qualifications

• 1 year of construction experience.
• Understanding of safety and general construction knowledge.
• Provide primary support to field supervision.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Able to stand or walk for long periods and read/write.

About the Role

We are looking for a Laborer to join our Operations team on our project in Mooresville, IN. This is a full-time position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cleaning and preparing the worksite.
• Assisting safety team.
• Handling and moving jobsite materials.
• Assisting carpenters with any projects.
• Help with loading and unloading of deliveries.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Possess 1-year of construction experience.
• Understanding of safety and general construction knowledge.
• Provide primary support to our field supervision.
• Be able to use critical thinking to solve issues on the worksite.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Must be agile/mobile, remain alert, be able to stand or walk for long periods of time, use fingers, hands & arms to reach, handle and manipulate objects, climb up/down ladders, scaffolds, and other objects.
• Work on uneven surfaces/heights, be able to read/write, and can see & hear well either naturally or with correction.

Preferred:

• Individuals must be able to work in an OSHA compliant safety environment.
• Must be able to work outside.
• Must be able to work overtime and weekend hours.
• Punctuality and promptness are required every day.
