Job summary

Pro-Pipe Services, a Shenandoah Company, is seeking a Laborer/Helper for our Phoenix, AZ, branch. This full-time, field-based position operates on a night shift from 6:00 PM to 4:00 AM, with occasional travel and overnight stays as projects require.

A $2 per hour night shift differential applies. You will support pipeline inspection and maintenance operations, perform debris removal, equipment handling, and inventory delivery while following all safety procedures and using PPE.

Qualifications

• Experience with confined space entry or sewer cleaning preferred.
• Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Willingness to travel and work nights, outdoors, in varying conditions.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive and operate trucks, forklifts, and equipment.
• Assist with debris removal and material handling.
• Work in confined spaces and access areas as required.
• Remove and replace manhole covers.
• Inventory and deliver materials to job sites.
• Adhere to safety procedures and PPE usage.

Position Overview

We are seeking a Laborer/Helper to join our team at our Phoenix, AZ branch. This is a full-time, field-based position working the Night Shift, typically Monday through Thursday from 6:00 PM to 4:00 AM. This position supports our pipeline inspection and maintenance operations and may require travel to job sites and occasional overnight stays depending on project assignments.

Night Shift Differential: An additional $2 per hour for hours worked on the Night Shift.

What You'll Do

• Drive and operate cars, trucks, forklifts, and other equipment safely
• Assist with debris removal, including shoveling, lifting, and moving materials
• Crawl, kneel, and work in confined spaces and access areas as required
• Remove and replace manhole covers
• Pick up, sort, organize, and deliver inventory and materials
• Work safely around equipment, machinery, and other job-site hazards
• Work around potential biohazards, including bloodborne pathogens and sewage
• Use required PPE and specialized safety equipment, including goggles, earplugs, and other protective equipment
• Work in varying conditions, including extreme temperatures, humidity, wet environments, excessive noise, and heights
• Travel to job sites during the workweek and stay overnight as required based on project assignments
• Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Knowledge of confined space entry, sewer line cleaning, or construction safety preferred
• Strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Valid driver's license and a satisfactory driving record
• Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment background check, motor vehicle record (MVR) check, and drug screenAbility and willingness to travel out of town during the workweek as needed based on job location
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including lifting, shoveling, crawling, kneeling, and working in varying environmental conditions

Work Schedule

• Full-time, field-based position
• Night Shift: Monday through Thursday, typically 6:00 PM to 4:00 AM
• Additional $2 per hour for Night Shift work
• Schedule may vary based on project assignments
• Overnight travel may be required
