Job summary

Miller Pipeline, LLC is seeking hardworking Laborers to join our gas distribution pipeline crews. You will assist in repair, maintenance, construction, installation, and fusion of plastic pipe, and reconditioning of gas distribution pipelines.

Required qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, 2+ years outdoor/manual labor experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass a DOT physical and testing. CDL is preferred; travel is frequent.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years' outdoor work or manual labor experience.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Clean driving record and ability to obtain a DOT physical (reimbursed).
• Must pass computer-based testing for the local Customer's operator qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Lift tools, objects and equipment of varying weight.
• Compress soil and asphalt.
• Shovel material, soil and cold patch asphalt mix.
• Operate vehicles used for hauling.
• Assist in the demolition, take-up and reconditioning of old pipe.
• Score and break asphalt or concrete with a jackhammer.
• Repair backfilled trench areas with grass seed or asphalt.
• Travel frequently within the area for work assignments.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent. 2+ years' experience in lieu of education will be considered.
• Valid Driver's License.
• 1 year of outdoor work or manual labor experience required.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Clean driving record and a DOT physical or ability to obtain one upon employment (reimbursed upon hire).
• Must pass computer-based testing, specific to the local Customer's operator qualifications.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1+ year gas construction experience.
• Class A CDL.
