Responsibilities
- Read blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
- Supervise and coordinate activities of laborers and their assigned roles.
- Interpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders.
- Interpret company policies to workers and enforce safety regulations.
- Establish and adjust work sequences to meet construction schedule, using knowledge of equipment capacities and assigned personnel.
- Study/analyze schedules and estimate worker-hour requirements for completion of jobs.
- Analyze and resolve work problems.
- Maintain time records.
- Make cost estimates for contracts.
- Provide work direction to laborers I, II, Journeyman, Apprentice, and Helpers.
- Work according to standard, detailed instructions and established, well-defined procedures.
- Determine work method from alternatives.
- Work under broad assignments.
- Effectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels.
- Lead team members by example, offer effective coaching and feedback, and manage performance.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.

- Ability to work with tools and equipment such as power and non-powered hand tools, vibrators, pumps, drills, and jackhammers.
- Ability to work with machinery, such as forklifts, skid loaders, and power buggies.
