Job summary

Holder Construction in Chester, VA is seeking a Laborer Foreman to oversee site logistics on site. This full-time, in-person role requires coordinating subcontractors, maintaining signage, and clear on-site communication with multiple parties.

The ideal candidate will have up to 4 years coordinating construction-site workflows, strong communication, and the physical ability to lift 50–100 lbs. OSHA safety awareness and outside work capability are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift and carry materials weighing 50–100 lbs., 75% of the time.

• Automation/tech readiness: use computer and iPad for site logistics plans.

About The Role

We are looking for a Laborer Foreman to join our team on site in Chester, VA. This is a full-time, in person position.

Key Responsibilities

• Will work with subcontractors to coordinate activities around the site including excavations, walk paths, deliveries, crane activities, etc.
• Will maintain site signage and designated walking pathways
• Needs to be able to efficiently communicate to multiple parties onsite
• Responsible for communicating logistics plans both internally and externally

Qualifications

Required:

• Needs to be technology inclined. Will need computer and iPad for updating site logistics plans.
• Qualified candidates will possess up to 4 years of experience in coordinating workflow for construction sites.
• Candidates will also possess strong communication skills, time management and will lead with integrity.
• Must be agile/mobile, remain alert, be able to stand or walk for long periods of time, use fingers, hands & arms to reach, handle and manipulate objects, climb up/down ladders, scaffolds, and other objects.
• Work on uneven surfaces/heights, be able to read/write, and can see & hear well either naturally or with correction.
• Must be able to lift and carry materials of all shapes and sizes weighing 50-100 lbs., 75% of the time

• Individuals must work in an OSHA compliant safety environment.
• Must be able to work outside.
• Must be able to work overtime and weekend hours.
• Punctuality and promptness are required every day.
