Travel Requirement: 25%

Pay: $20.57/hr

H&W: $8.34 – $10.96/hr up to 40 hours per week

Scope of Work:

The Facilities Maintenance Laborer – Exterior Electric performs tasks which require mainly physical abilities and effort involving little or no specialized skills primarily in the Electric Shop.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in general maintenance and minor repair tasks.
• Use I-Pads for identifying and labeling assets to meet Performance Work Statement (PWS) and Asset Tagging Requirements.
• Perform PWS required lighting checks at multiple locations on Fort Carson.
• Perform PWS required mobile generator checks.
• Support the maintenance and repair of exterior lighting systems, traffic lights, intersection signage, pedestrian crossings, school zone flashers, and any exterior electrical issue that falls under the Exterior Electric shop.
• Work as a ground person for other employees working in bucket trucks, ensuring safety around traffic.
• Support Exterior Electric employees while operating different types of lifts after completing T&H Services Lift Training Classes.
• Clean the Exterior Electric Facilities and vehicles, including floors, walls, ceilings, and surrounding areas.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School or Equivalent.
• Minimum of one year experience in facility laborer field/maintenance.
• Must successfully complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (Tier 1) background check.
• Maintain licenses and/or credentials required for this position.
• Ability to work in a high-volume office area and interface positively with co-workers and customers.
• Ability to work in a team or alone and adapt to job changes on short notice.
• Must possess strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Must have practical knowledge of worksite safety, occupational hazards, and standard safety practices.
• Must maintain a valid state driver’s license and have a safe driving record.
• Must be able to successfully complete a drug/alcohol test and a criminal record check.
