Primoris Services Corporation is seeking a Laborer/Driver in Houston, TX to transport materials, inspect and prepare equipment, and assist on job sites. The role requires physical labor, ability to work in heat/cold, and adherence to safety standards.

The position involves loading/unloading, securing cargo, and mantenering logs/documents while coordinating with supervisors for delivery instructions.

Formación

• Must possess a current valid Texas Driver's License.
• Knowledge of OSHA Standards and Traffic Control.
• Confined Space Training.
• Physical labor is required and job entails heat/cold conditions.

Other duties may be assigned.* Drives truck to destination.* Does daily visual inspections & weekly written inspections* Maintains telephone or radio contact with supervisor to receive delivery instructions.* Loads and unloads truck.* Inspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water & makes repairs as needed.* Performs emergency roadside repairs such as changing tires, installing light bulbs and tire chains.* Operates equipment when approved by supervisor* Positions blocks and ties rope around items to secure cargo during transit.* Makes sure all necessary documents are current in truck i.e. registration, inspection & insurance cards* Assist crews as needed while on job site* Prepares trucks, materials for job* Keep trucks & equipment clean* Hand digging and related jobs that require physical labor* Manual labor- is able to handle heat & cold temp* Responsible to assist w/emergencies **Qualifications** To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
