Primoris is seeking a truck driver to operate company vehicles transporting materials to designated locations. The role requires regular inspections, cargo securement, and coordination with supervisors.

You will load and unload, perform basic truck maintenance, and assist crews on job sites while maintaining safety and compliance with regulations. Candidates should have a Texas Driver's License, be able to work in varying weather conditions, and understand OSHA safety standards.

• Current valid Texas Driver's License.
• Ability to communicate with Crew Leader/Supervisor.
• Knowledge of OSHA Standards and Traffic Control.
• Ability to perform physical labor in heat and cold.

• Drive truck to destination and conduct daily/weekly inspections.

Job Overview:Summary Drives truck with capacity to transport materials to and from specified destinations, by performing the following duties.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Drives truck to destination.Does daily visual inspections & weekly written inspectionsMaintains telephone or radio contact with supervisor to receive delivery instructions.Loads and unloads truck.Inspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water & makes repairs as needed.Performs emergency roadside repairs such as changing tires, installing light bulbs and tire chains.Operates equipment when approved by supervisorPositions blocks and ties rope around items to secure cargo during transit.Makes sure all necessary documents are current in truck i.e. registration, inspection & insurance cardsAssist crews as needed while on job sitePrepares trucks, materials for jobKeep trucks & equipment cleanHand digging and related jobs that require physical laborManual labor- is able to handle heat & cold tempResponsible to assist w/emergenciesQualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
