Job summary

R.J. Corman Railroad Group, LLC is seeking a full-time laborer in Kentucky to travel on a rotating schedule and perform demanding outdoor work on railroad and construction sites.

You will use hand and power tools, follow safety protocols, and wear PPE while collaborating closely with teammates and supervisors. On-the-job training is provided, and applicants must be 18 or older, able to pass background checks, and withstand physically demanding tasks that may involve heavy lifting and long

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Travel extensively on a rotating schedule (typically 8 days on, 6 days off).
• Perform physical labor, including digging, hammering, and using various tools.
• Practice safe work habits and ensure proper PPE is used.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Specialized or Technical Knowledge, or Education and Experience:

• Ability to operate or learn heavy and specialized equipment.
• Must pass a background check, drug screen, and physical capacity test.
• On-the-job training provided.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift up to 100 pounds maximum.
• Frequently lift and/or carry objects up to 50 pounds.
• Perform physically demanding work using hand tools and equipment.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to travel extensively for work.
• Work in active railroad and construction-related environments.
• Enjoy working outdoors.
