Job Title: Common Laborer

Archer Western, a member of The Walsh Group, is seeking a Common Laborer for the TCTX Region/DFWIA Int'l Pkwy Bridges & High Mast Replacement Project in Dallas, Texas.

The Common Laborer will perform physical tasks on construction sites, including commercial, industrial, or heavy civil projects. Responsibilities include operating hand and/or power tools, preparing sites, and assisting with various duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical labor as instructed by supervisors
• Work with crew members and operate various hand and power tools, including drills and hammers
• Clean and prepare construction sites, erect scaffolding, dispose of debris, and dig trenches
• Load and unload supplies manually and with equipment

Qualifications

• Preferably 1 year of verifiable experience
• Ability to climb and maintain balance on scaffolds/ladders
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in adverse weather conditions
• Compliance with safety policies and effective communication skills
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Good manual dexterity; ability to stand, bend, kneel, or sit for long periods
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening
