REPORTS TO: Director of Buildings, Grounds, and Maintenance
JOB STATUS: Part-time, non-exempt

LOCATION: New Windsor, NY
PAY RATE: $17.00 per hour
Laborer will align his/her scope of work with Healthy Kids Mission, while incorporating Healthy Kids Core Values as the guiding principle for all work activities.
Healthy Kids is looking for an experienced, skilled, detail-oriented, self-starter to occupy the position of Laborer for the company. The position is responsible for the upkeep of Healthy Kids Programs Buildings including preventative maintenance, repairs, renovations, and on-call work.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 80 pounds. Employee must be able to climb a ladder, up to 30 feet. Employee must be comfortable working on a roof with proper safety equipment. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
