Job summary

MP Nexlevel, LLC is seeking a Laborer to support construction projects in Roswell, NM. The role requires digging trenches, locating utilities, loading materials, and assisting with conduit and cable installation.

Candidates must have a valid driver's license and a DOT Health Card, be physically able to lift up to 75 pounds, and follow safety policies. Responsibilities include operating basic tools, driving company vehicles, and performing light maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Hand dig and back fill trenches.
• Locate underground utilities and infrastructure with hands/tools/equipment.
• Assist in pulling conduit and cable.
• Operate tampers, jackhammers, drills, and saws as trained.
• Drive pickup and one-ton vehicles to/from job site.
• Load and carry materials for use on site.
• Follow all safety policies and practices.
• Wash and clean vehicles/equipment; perform light maintenance.
• Complete paperwork as needed.
• Support other duties as assigned.

Job description

A Laborer should possess a fundamental understanding of construction and be familiar with working with tools and their hands.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Hand dig and back fill trenches
• Use hands, tools, and/or equipment to locate underground utilities and infrastructure
• Assist in pushing and pulling conduit and cable
• Trained to operate tampers, jackhammers, drills, and saws
• Drive pick-up and one-ton vehicles to and from job site
• Carry and load materials to be used on the job
• Follow all company safety policies and practices
• Wash and clean vehicles and equipment
• Light repair and maintenance of tools and equipment
• Safety training as required by position
• Paperwork filing and maintenance as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Essential Education and Qualifications:

• Must have valid driver’s license
• Valid DOT Health Card

Preferred Skills:

• Class A Driver’s License (CDL)

Physical Demands:

• Must be physically fit to endure the daily activity involved with the job
• Must be able to work in all weather conditions
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds
