Job summary

Insight Global's client in Rochester, PA is hiring Utility Laborers to support projects across the greater Pittsburgh area. The role involves assisting the crew to complete work safely, on time, and to meet customer specifications for quality.

The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma or GED, be able to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and be comfortable with occasional travel. DOT physical and drug testing compliance is required; CDL license is a plus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Work safely as an essential part of the Team.
• Assist as required in all manual labor aspects of the project as directed by the Crew Leader, Foreman, or Supervisor.
• Handle physically demanding construction duties in an outdoor environment.
• Assist crew members in placing underground pipes, conduits, shovel work, and in the operation of power tools.
• Learning career development skills related to utility construction, including the operation of equipment.
• Occasional extended travel required (Per Diem paid for all out-of-town projects).

A client of ours is hiring Utility Laborers for their Rochester, PA operation supporting projects across the greater Pittsburgh area. A Utility Laborer will assist the crew in completing the project safely, on time, and meeting the customer specifications for quality.

Must Haves:

• Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, dig and reach
• Must be able to lift, carry and place heavy objects
• Must be able to climb ladders
• Must have the ability to work extended hours when needed
• Education: High School diploma or GED
• Meet all DOT requirements (physical and drug testing)
• Comfortable with occasional travel
