Job summary

Princeton Construction in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Laborer to operate and maintain equipment, load and unload materials, and assist on job sites under supervision. You should be physically fit, reliable, and willing to learn on the job.

Summary

The Laborer will be responsible for operating and maintaining various tools and equipment, load and unload materials, pick up and make deliveries to jobsites and follow directions from supervisors. To do well in this role you should be physically fit, reliable, and be a hard worker.

Contract

This is a Full-Time, Non-Exempt position.

Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities
  • Operate and care for construction equipment, tools and vehicles.
  • Help Superintendents and Assistant Superintendents as necessary.
  • Prep construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards.
  • Load or unload construction materials.
  • Put together and take apart temporary structures, such as temporary fencing.
  • Remove, fill, or compact earth.
  • Follow instructions from supervisors.
  • Ready to learn from on-the-job training when necessary.
  • Perform site clean-up.
Certifications/License/Experience Requirements
  • Must have valid driver license.
  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to do physical labor and other physical tasks.
  • Ability to work in all weather.
  • Workers must be punctual and reliable.
  • Must have experience as a general laborer in the construction industry.
  • Must have drug free.
