Job description

We are currently seeking a qualified person to fill the position of Construction Laborer. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining various machines, loading and unloading frequently heavy materials, and following directions from supervisors. To excel in this role you should be physically fit, reliable, and a hard worker.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Operate and care for construction equipment and machines.
• Assist equipment operators, carpenters, and other skilled labor when necessary.
• Prep construction sites by clearing obstacles and hazards.
• Load or unload construction materials.
• Follow instructions from supervisors.
• Be ready to learn through on-the-job training when necessary.
• Perform site clean‑up.
• Repeatedly stand, bend, push, and pull for a minimum of eight hours a day.
• Clean the job site at the end of the day, ensuring trash is properly disposed of and materials or equipment are stored safely.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Abilities

• Ability to perform physical labor and other strenuous tasks.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Punctual and reliable.
• Ability to listen to, understand, and follow directions.
• Flexibility to handle changing assignments.
• Basic arithmetic skills for counting and inventory.
• Experience as a general laborer in the construction industry is a plus.

Education & Experience

• Prior job experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of standing, climbing, bending, and kneeling.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
• Ability to safely work with sharp tools or power equipment.
