General Summary
A Laborer assists crew leader, equipment operator, crane operator and/or welder to accomplish daily task which consist of a variety of manual labor functions and duties.

Education and Experience
Preferably 1-2 years of related industry experience (6 months minimum) along with knowledge of tools.
Physical & Mental Requirements Less than 1% 1% to 33% 34% to 65% 66% to 100%
Lifting/Pulling/Jerking/Grasping/Raising/Lowering: Must be able to lift, grasp up to 50 lbs. with the use of fingers, palm and wrists to hold and/or manipulate objects (hammers, saws, pencils, pens etc.) Must be able to raise and lower objects from one level to another. X
Squatting/Twisting/Bend/Reaching/Stooping/Squatting/Kneeling: Must be able to twist, squat, kneel and bend in various positions with or without objects. X
Pushing: Must be able to exert force upon an object so that the object moves away from the force. X
Carry/Support: Must be able to carry and provide support to objects, usually holding it in hands, arms and/or on the shoulders. X
Body Positions; Supine/Seated/Standing: Must be able to work in a supine, seated or standing position. X
Working Conditions: The locations vary from site to site. Work is physically demanding and requires the ability to concentrate well on the job at hand, in all types of weather. Majority of the work is construction-based work. Walking and working surface vary depending on the terrain, from flat to extreme slopes and frozen, wet, snowy and slippery conditions.
Working Hours: Normally, a full-time employee will work 40 hours per week, depending on the factors such as weather and schedules. Work schedules and hours may vary somewhat depending on specific client locations and projects. In general, applicable work schedules include 5-8’s and 4-10’s. All labor laws in reference to rest breaks and meal periods will be followed.
