Job summary

Aerotek in Mason, OH is seeking a Laborer experienced with spray and caulk guns to apply materials to ceilings, walls, and windows, and to hang fire strips with a pelting nail gun. You will operate air, electric, and pneumatic drills and other power tools on a construction site.

The role is contract to hire, onsite in Mason, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 6:30 AM to 5:30 PM. PPE includes Type II hard hats, hi-visibility clothing, and steel-toed boots; gloves and hats provided.

Qualifications

• Scissor lift certification is required.
• Comfortable working at heights.

Job Title: Laborer

We are seeking a dedicated laborer skilled in using spray and caulk guns for the application of materials to ceilings, doors, walls, and windows. You will also be responsible for hanging fire strips with a pelting nail gun, and operating various tools such as air, electric, and pneumatic drills, pavement breakers, jackhammers, earth tampers, and mixers for concrete, mortar, and plaster.

Responsibilities

• Use spray and caulk guns to apply materials to ceilings, doors, walls, and windows.

• Hang fire strips using a pelting nail gun and secure them through the flutes.

• Operate air, electric, and pneumatic drills effectively.

• Utilize pavement breakers, jackhammers, and earth tampers.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Scissor lift certification is required.

• Comfortable working at heights.

Work Environment

The work schedule is from Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Personal protective equipment such as Type II hard hats, high-visibility clothing, and steel-toed boots are required. Gloves and hard hats will be provided. The position involves working outdoors and at heights, requiring a high degree of safety awareness

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
