Position Summary

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Assist craftsmen in setting up work as required.
2. Follow instructions from superintendents, foremen, and experienced crew members.
3. Prioritize safety in all duties.
4. Maintain clean and orderly work areas.
5. Read and understand warning signs, operating instructions, safety rules, and policies.
6. Observe functioning of equipment or systems to identify hazards.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent, with relevant experience preferred.
2. Knowledge of tools and safety procedures.
3. Effective communication skills for following and transmitting instructions.
4. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and layout tools safely and efficiently.

Requirements:

1. Ability to move constantly on a construction site, including standing, walking, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
2. Ability to work outdoors in changing weather conditions.
3. Work irregular hours, including weekends, overtime, and holidays.
4. Use ladders, scaffolds, and mechanical platforms to access work areas, maintaining balance.
5. Work in confined, cluttered, and uneven spaces.
6. Complete tasks in noisy and dusty environments.
7. Lift and move items up to 50 pounds.
8. Possess required tools and possibly a U.S. Driver License.
9. Observe safety and project rules, perform other duties as assigned.
10. Pass pre-access drug and alcohol testing and a medical fitness assessment.
