The Project Laborer will play a vital role in supporting various construction activities and ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the construction site. The ideal candidate should demonstrate a strong work ethic, commitment to safety, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.Key Responsibilities:General Construction Support:• Assist skilled tradespersons and supervisors in various construction tasks, including but not limited to material handling, site cleanup, and equipment setup• Follow instructions from supervisors and adhere to established construction procedures• Operate basic construction tools and equipment under supervisionSite Cleanup and Maintenance:• Maintain a clean and organized construction site by removing debris, garbage, and hazardous materials• Keep walkways, work areas, and access points clear and safe for all personnel• Perform routine maintenance tasks on tools, equipment, and site facilitiesMaterial Handling:• Assist in loading and unloading construction materials, equipment, and supplies• Distribute materials to designated areas, ensuring efficient access for construction teams• Safely transport materials using appropriate handling techniques and equipmentSafety Compliance:• Adhere to all safety guidelines, protocols, and regulations on the construction site• Report any safety hazards, incidents, or concerns to the appropriate supervisor• Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety practices at all timesPromptness and Consistency:• Arrive punctually at the construction site, ready for work, and adhere to scheduled work hours• Maintain a high level of attendance and consistency in performing assigned dutiesTeam Collaboration:• Collaborate with other construction team members and follow instructions from supervisors to achieve project goals• Communicate effectively with coworkers, supervisors, and subcontractors to facilitate smooth operationsTask Flexibility:• Be willing to take on various tasks as assigned by supervisors based on project needs.• Adapt to changing work demands and priorities, contributing to a flexible and adaptable work environment.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)Prior experience in construction or related field is a plusAbility to perform physically demanding tasks and lift heavy objects as neededStrong work ethic and willingness to learn new skillsExcellent attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accuratelyBasic understanding of construction safety practices and protocolsReliable transportation to and from the construction siteRequirements:Punctuality: Arrive on time for scheduled shifts and consistently adhere to work hoursConsistency: Maintain regular attendance and consistently perform assigned dutiesSafety Focus: Prioritize personal and team safety by following established safety procedures and using appropriate PPETeam Player: Demonstrate the ability to work effectively within a team, take direction, and contribute to a positive work environmentSalary: $19-22 per hour DOEDrug testing and background screening requiredPaulsCorp is an Equal Opportunity Employer M/F/D/V.
