Qualifications

  • Ability to perform general construction labor activities including shoveling, raking, hand grading, material handling, and concrete work.
  • Ability to follow directions from Foremen, Superintendents, and crew leaders.
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety and compliance with PPE requirements and site procedures.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and uneven terrain.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general labor tasks such as shoveling, raking, grading by hand, pipe laying assistance, concrete work, and site labor.
  • Support equipment operators, truck drivers, and skilled trades as needed.
  • Follow Foremen and Superintendents' instructions accurately and promptly.
  • Maintain productivity and keep the jobsite clean and organized.

Role OverviewConstruction Laborers are responsible for supporting field crews with general labor, sitepreparation, material handling, and task-specific duties as directed by the Foreman andSuperintendent.Laborers play a critical role in safety, production, and jobsite cleanliness. General Labor & Task ExecutionResponsibilities• Perform assigned tasks such as shoveling, raking, grading by hand, pipe laying assistance,concrete work, and general site labor.• Support equipment operators, truck drivers, and skilled trades as needed.• Follow instructions from Foremen and Superintendents accurately and promptly.• Maintain productivity throughout the workday.Performance Standards• Tasks completed safely and efficiently.• Minimal rework due to laborer error.• Demonstrated reliability and strong work ethic.B.
