Job summary

C.W. Roberts Contracting, Inc. is hiring a Laborer for our local operations. You will support crews in preparing and handling materials for asphalt, grading, curbs, and related trades, using hand or power tools as needed.

You may perform tasks such as placing asphalt, shoveling gravel or dirt, lifting materials, and assisting with traffic control devices while adhering to safety practices and company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to work days, nights, or weekends as needed.
• A valid Florida driver's license preferred.
• Employer conducts drug testing and background check.

• Placement of asphalt using hand or power tools including - shovel, rake, pick hammer, tamp, saw, etc.
• Shovel or rake gravel, dirt, or other material
• Lift, carry, and transfer materials and tools
• Assist in moving and placing traffic control devices
• Follow safe practices and procedures
• Must be able to stand/walk for prolonged periods of time and be able to work outside in inclement weather

C.W. Roberts Contracting, Inc. (CWR) is a growing road construction company. We are seeking to fill a Laborer position for our local operations.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and labor associated with various trades, including but not limited to: asphalt, pipe, grading, curb and gutter, structures, and traffic control
• Placement of asphalt using hand or power tools including - shovel, rake, pick hammer, tamp, saw, etc.
• Shovel or rake gravel, dirt, or other material
• Lift, carry, and transfer materials and tools
• Assist in moving and placing traffic control devices
• Follow safe practices and procedures
• Must be able to stand/walk for prolonged periods of time and be able to work outside in inclement weather

Requirements
