Job description

This position reports to a Construction Foreman and is responsible for daily civil construction activities at wireless locations. Projects typically involve construction services related to wireless telecommunication systems, including generator and cabinet installations, concrete pads, foundations, framing, fencing, and minor electrical work.

Position Responsibilities

1. Perform trenching, conduit installation, concrete work, and wire installation.
2. Collaborate with the Foreman on daily production expectations and take feedback and direction.
3. Assist with ATS / MTS / Camlock installations, ensuring safety and professionalism.
4. Conduct daily safety and quality inspections on-site.
5. Understand, comply with, and enforce company and safety requirements, including OSHA, federal, and state regulations.
6. Coordinate with NOC and Tower / Land owners before entering or leaving sites, and complete all log entries.
7. Safely operate hand and power tools, including OTDRs, Fluke meters, cable cutters, drills, saws, hammer drills, and knock-out punches.
8. Verify that all necessary materials are delivered to the job site.
9. Assist other trades and contractors in project construction.
10. Report construction progress to the Foreman.
11. Accurately record time and proper coding on timesheets.
12. Pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks.
13. Have reliable transportation.
14. Perform other duties as assigned, including travel up to 100%, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working in various weather conditions.
15. Willingness to work occasional weekends and overtime.

Work Requirements

1+ years of related experience, which may vary based on training, certifications, or degrees. Travel required: 75-100%. Salary range: $19.08 - $25.30 per hour, based on experience and location. Benefits information available.
